THE TEN MOST ยท READER GUIDE
Editorial Standards
Readers deserve a transparent account of how a topic made the list and where the supporting information came from.
Source and verify
Published editions should identify the underlying source, collection window and geography. Editors should verify key claims against reliable primary sources where possible, distinguish reporting from opinion, and link readers to material that supports important factual statements.
Explain uncertainty
Rising search interest is not proof of popularity, public opinion, causation or total search volume. We will avoid headlines that overstate a small or noisy signal and will add context when results could be misleading.
Keep recommendations useful
Recommendations should be relevant to the topic and the named market, with clear disclosure of sponsorship, affiliate relationships or other commercial influence if those are introduced. An advertisement will be visually distinct from editorial content and will not be presented as a ranked recommendation.
Corrections
When a material error is found, the relevant edition should be corrected promptly and the change identified. A launch-ready contact route and correction process still need to be supplied by the publisher.
